What tolerances can Operose Manufacturing hold?
Our automated 5-axis machining centers deliver tolerances down to ±0.0001" for high-precision applications, and our state-of-the-art machines hold tolerances down to ±0.0005" consistently.
What materials do you machine?
We machine aluminum, carbon steel, stainless steel, corrosion-resistant alloys, high-strength alloys, and specialty alloys, and we offer biocompatible material expertise for medical components. Material certifications and traceability are available. For a specific material not listed, please contact us.
What are your lead times?
Our typical lead time is 3 weeks, and we provide quotes within 24 hours.
Do you have minimum order quantities?
We support everything from small-batch prototypes to low, mid, and high-volume production. For questions about minimum quantities on a specific part, please contact us.

Do you handle prototypes or production runs?
Both. We offer rapid prototyping with design for manufacturability feedback, and production machining from prototype to high-volume, including Kanban programs.

What equipment do you use?
Our primary equipment, all under 5 years old, includes DMG-Mori DMU50 (with Erowa pallet loader) and DMU75 5-axis machining centers, a DMG-Mori CMX-1100, a DMG-Mori NLX 2500 mill/turn with gantry loader, and a Fanuc Robodrill PlusK 60 with robotic loading.
